To make your steps easier to follow:

• 1 Stay within character count limits (shown to the right of each entry).
• 2 Include sizes, specifications and model numbers when possible.
• 3 Keep text simple.
• 4 Be specific when describing your steps.
• 5 Please rate the level of difficulty based on a novice user.
• 6 Spell check your text first, but you may have problems copy and pasting from Microsoft Word.
• 7 Save your text as a Rich Text Format file - to avoid formatting issues.

Before submitting your Step-by-Step, be sure to:

• 1 Complete all required (*) fields
• 2 Stay within character count limits
• 3 Check that photos are less than 1MB and in one of the following formats: .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.bmp/.png/.tif
• 4 Videos should be no larger than 50 megabytes and can be in any of the following formats: MPEG (MP4, VOB, MPG, 3GP); Microsoft (AVI, ASF, WMV); Apple Quicktime (MOV); Flash (FLV)
