I have the NST2118 18 volt trimmer that uses Ni-Cad batteries. The 18 Volt Ni-Cad batteries are terrible and develop a memory (not charging to full capacity), and it takes both Ni-Cad batteries to trim my relatively small front and back yard. I want to know if I can use the new 20 volt Lithium batteries that come on your newer lithium ion trimmers, in my older 18 volt Grass Hog trimmer? If the answer is NO, I suggest you make an 18 volt Lithium Ion battery for it.
