    My experience has been that the B & D 3.6 volt batteries do NOT last for 300 charges; they weaken and die after less than 100 charges. I have had VERY good luck with the Ryobi Lithium-Ion batteries, and feel that their product is currently far superior to Black and Decker; you are going to be losing business unless you come up with a better 3.6 volt battery to operate the older models of tools; I will not be purchasing any further B & D tools unless you find some way to improve your product.
    Pros:

    Nothing

    Cons:

    Lack of battery life; high cost relative to battery life

    I agree with 'nawalins' about the price being too high. And it is. Life of battery does NOT warrant that kind of price. And I need two batteries. Guess I'll do with out. There is a AA battery one.. hmmmm maybe...
    Pros:

    good at first.

    Cons:

    useless after 50 charges. NOT worth this cost.

    When they stay charged the batteries work fine.

    Cons:

    The problem is the batteries do not stand up for long. I have had six fail just in the last few months and if the rest fail I will not be able to use my drill, detail sander, horiz. saber saw, and other appliances. The cost of these batteries are too expensive for me and when the rest of my batteries fail I will have to discard all my tools and will never darken the local Black and Decker again. I have had a long relationship with B&D for tools, kitchen appliances, garden tools etc., but the cost of these simple batteries will drive me away and to Harbor Freight tools for cheap tools. Sorry.

    The batteries work fine while they last but the batt life is not sufficient enough too warrant the hi cost.

    Cons:

    The price! The true value of these replacement batteries should be 1/4 the MSRP which would make the item worth purchasing.
