    Very nice mower!

Having owned a number of corded B&D mowers over the past 20-years, I had grown tired of "dragging a cord". Was always reluctant to go "cordless" since I was not sure I could get my entire yard on a single charge. This cordless is every bit a good as earlier corded mowers! And, at 36-volts, it is fully capable of mowing my approximately 5000-square foot yard.
    Pros:

No cord to drag! 36-volts is a good thing!

    Cons:

    Nothing so far!

    Great Small-Job Mower--and Vacuum

I use this mower to supplement my riding mower to "cut-in" and to mow my back yard which is too small to cut with the rider. Also, I found it useful to vacuum the extensive amount of driveway, sidewalk, and curb guttering that gets fouled by the rider. I put the mower on the lowest cutting setting and run it back and forth over the paved areas I am cleaning. It leaves the surface cleaner than swept, filling the bag _twice_ with leavings from my other mower. The cut is even and works well as a bagger and as a mulcher. Being small and light, it is easy to maneuver, making it the perfect choice to supplement my rider for "cutting in." The charge is more than sufficient for the job.
    Pros:

Small Lightweight Excellent suction Good mulcher Good bagger No gas Easy start Quite

    Cons:

Running a cord to the storage shed each time the mower has been used is a bit of a pain. Less hassle than gas though.

    Fabulous!

This is the 18" rechargeable mower. My first electric mower! I just bought it yesterday, as part of my state's gas mower trade-in program, which, apparently, Black & Decker is part of.
    Pros:

It is easy and quiet! And, no gas stink!

    Cons:

It's narrower than my gas mower was, so it takes me a bit longer to do the yard, but it's still good exercise! It would have taken me a while to assemble the handle on my own, so I'm grateful that a neighbor was home to help figure it out yesterday. I've only had it a day, so I don't know what else could come up. There is a flap in the back that seems to go under the mower when I pull it backwards. Hopefully, that won't be an issue.

Better than I could have imagined - my only regret is I didn't buy one sooner.

Today my wife and I spotted one of these at OSH, which was having a sale. My first thought was that it looked very solid and sleek. The design takes the realities of lawn work into consideration in a big way. So we bought one. We got it home and I opened the box according to the instruction, along the side; rolled-out the mower, and within ten minutes (I sat down and read the manual before I started putting it together) I had it put together. I noticed the Anderson Powerpoles for the connectors on the charger, which I applaud. Ignition! This mower is 1/3 the volume of my plug-in electric mower. I was curious to see how much of a charge was on the battery right out of the box. I did 3/4 of our 10,000 square-foot lawn before the battery was done. It's now charging and I bet with a fresh full charge I can easily do my entire lawn. This puts the fun back into mowing the yard. I can easily listen to my headphones now. My wife even wants to mow now!!! Get the CM1836!
    Pros:

First: THE ANDERSON POWERPOLES!!! The solid main chassis. I love the ergonomic handles. Easy to clean. I love that it came with a charged battery. I did 3/4 of my yard before my wife even heard the mower, then she wanted to try it.

    Cons:

I wish I had bought one sooner.
