    I was very hesitated to buy a battery powered trimmer; however, I am pleasently surprised at the job it did. I trimmed approximately 100 ft. of overgrown bushes and still had half a charge left. It was really nice not having to use gas! Good choice!
    Pros:

    Light weight, easy to use, long lasting battery with no memory, and powerful enough to perform the average homeowner trimming

    Cons:

    After only using it once I have no complaints!

    First time out, this trimmer works great. Used it to trim the overgrown lilac hedge, which was also intermixed with some very tall weeds. Seems just as powerful as the 2455 corded trimmer so far, and way better than the Ryobi 18V trimmer, even using the lithium battery upgrade.
    Pros:

    Great power, and no cord to mess with (and I've sliced thru more than one in my time)! Battery charges fast, too. I may have to sell my corded trimmers! You also don't have to hold down the safety lock with your thumb while pressing the power trigger with your other fingers, like my older trimmer.

    Cons:

    Would be cool if it had a rotating handle like the 2455, but this is still a great trimmer as it is.

    Great initially until one month old when the clear brush/hand guard broke. Many calls to customer support only to find the part I needed was continually on back-order with no anticipated time of arrival. Fooled around with them for two months involving 5 phone calls and still no promise of the part. Got fed up with them and returned the product.
    Pros:

    Light, quiet easy to use.

    Cons:

    MADE IN CHINA!!! MADE IN CHINA!! MADE IN CHINA!! As with 99% of all the products I buy that are made in China they look good on the outside but are made of cheap inferior materials and something always happens that makes the product fail. In short, good looking junk. I can't see how good American companies think this helps their bottom line. Unsatisfied customers don't return.
