    Like HiVue17a, I bought the B&D 6/4/2 Smart Charger to float/maintain my batteries. It never quite worked right and would often not stay on the setting you put it. I should have returned it right away and did not. You are better off buying a charger from these guys: http://batterytender.com/automotive.html I bought their Waterproof 800 International. It works great, indoors and out. It has the three stage charging and just simply works. (...and a 3 year warranty to boot)
    Pros:

    Nice form factor. The spot for the cables is a great touch.

    Cons:

    To bad it doesn't work. B&D, you had your chance. If you can't reliably build something as simple as a battery charger, why should I risk spending my money on your other products.

    I will never buy Black & Becker battery charter again. This charger only charges batteries that have some charge. If you leave your lights on or something that completely drains the battery this charger give a fault light and will not charge. A charger that doesn't charge dead batteries. Brilliant design!

    B&D 2/4/6 amp Smart battery charger. Bought it to maintain PWC batteries. Worked ok for less than a year. This is the second one I bought. Will not buy another B&D battery charger.
    Pros:

    Nice little unit.

    Cons:

    Doesn't hold up. Fan was noisy when new.
